Optimizing quality assurance through AVT camera inspection
The CERM - AVT integration automates the camera inspection process contributing to better quality assurance. It bypasses manual search for files and automatically sets up the correct referencing image, links all prepress files to the right job instructions and – in reverse – it links the recordings from the inspection system to the newly semi-finished goods.
Automated camera inspection
After the prepress workflow system creates an approved image for camera inspection as single source of truth, the CERM MIS enables all inspection data to be transferred to production. The AVT camera inspection system will cross reference the printed goods to a complete set of quality assurance actions based on a specific set of rules.
The automated link between the CERM MIS and AVT inspection system is organized via an API.
