As we continue to expand our product offerings and global footprint, we are seeking a talented and driven Senior C++ developer to join our team.

Position overview

As a Senior C++ Developer at CERM, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, continuously improving and maintaining our MIS software solutions. You will collaborate with a team of talented developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

These are the key responsibilities for the role

• Design and Development: Design, implement, and maintain C++ code for our MIS applications, ensuring high performance and quality.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex technical issues and software defects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product management and customer service, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to software design, code, and configuration.
• Support: work on 3^rd line helpdesk issues that get escalated to development
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our software development practices and products.

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (5+ years) with a good understanding of the language’s libraries and algorithms.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server: knowledge of T-SQL, transactions, isolation levels, interest in performance tuning.
• Experience with software development tools (e.g. Embarcadero).

These skills and/or experiences will set you apart:

• Proven experience working on ERP applications or other large-scale software systems.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Angular
• Experience in QA
